Finding a good all purpose utility knife for the shop can be a challenge. The inexpensive big box store cheap utility knives have low quality blades that quickly dull and the plastic bodies are big and break easily. Tajima is different.

Tajima is a professional-class, high-quality tool maker from Japan that we love. We found this handy little metal body utility knife with a high quality, long lasting blade that is the perfect small size. It fits right into most apron pencil pockets. I find it very convenient for general purpose cutting around the shop. I always have it in my apron pocket ready to go. Each blade has 6 breakaway pieces to expose a fresh point each time.

Awesome little knife!

This little knife is very affordable and extremely versatile.
The design is great. I use it for everything in my shop from opening packages to a marking knife. As a marking knife the lines are extremely sharp and accurate. Really like how I can put the blade right against the wood and cut tape or mark a line and have the blade against a straight edge and not have to worry about cutting into the wood or straight edge.

Great Product

I ordered it more out of curiosity than necessity. After trying it once I will never go back. Lines are very crisp and I love the fact that you can snap off the dulled edge and get a brand new one very easily. The price was also very reasonable!
