Do you find that using your plane's adjusting knob is a bit difficult? Well we did and decided to fix that by creating our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0 adjusting knob to replace the original adjusting knob on most WoodRiver & Luban bench planes.

Our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0 is larger and much easier to use than the original adjusting knob allowing you to make adjustments to your blade depth setting easily. Our design makes it easier for you to reach and turn the adjuster with your fingers and easier for you to reach the frog adjustment screw with a screwdriver. We know you will love our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0.

DETAILS:

Made of forged brass.

Designed to fit WoodRiver and Luban brand bench planes numbers 4-1/2, 5, 5-1/2, 6, 7, and 8. Requires removal of handle to install (see installation video).

WIll Not Fit the WoodRiver or Luban bench planes number 1, 3, 4 and 62.

Diameter: 1-7/8 inch outside diameter.

This is awesome. It makes adjusting the blade so much easier while planing or shooting wood. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Tiny but mighty.

This was such a nice add-on to my hand plane; it is the easiest thing to install and still affordable for people on a budget. One thing I didn't expect before buying it, is that I actually feel I am able to do much finer adjustment to the blade with it which I found very useful when smoothing / shooting.

Adjustar!

I’ve added the Adjustar to a few of my bench planes. It really does ease the micro changes need to fine tune your planing. It really reminds me of the chamfer depth adjuster wheel on my Stanley 72. I’ll bet that’s where Rob got the idea from. Great product!!

Five Stars for the AdjuStar 2.0!

I purchased this for my Woodriver #5 1/2 and it makes using the adjusting knob so much easier. It's well made and couldn't have been eaiser to install. This is especially helpful on a plane this size. I couldn't be more pleased.
