Do you find that using your plane's adjusting knob is a bit difficult? Well we did and decided to fix that by creating our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0 adjusting knob to replace the original adjusting knob on most WoodRiver & Luban bench planes.

Our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0 is larger and much easier to use than the original adjusting knob allowing you to make adjustments to your blade depth setting easily.  Our design makes it easier for you to reach and turn the adjuster with your fingers and easier for you to reach the frog adjustment screw with a screwdriver. We know you will love our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0.

  • WIll Not Fit the WoodRiver or Luban bench planes number 1, 3, 4 and 62.

AdjuSTAR: WoodRiver & Luban Version

I pop-popped that the STAR would make a real difference. Proven wrong! Once you try this, you’ll never go back. Highly recommend!

Adjust-Star Review...

Hello All! After watching Rob's video where the Adjust-Star was explained, and the benefits of using it over the stock adjusting wheel, I ordered one. Installation was straight forward, and it's proven much easier to use than the wheel. It's quicker, and adjustments can be made more precisely. It's well made too, and feels good to the touch. All in all a solid investment!

Great Upgrade

The star adjuster is a great plane upgrade, perhaps the best. It makes fine tuning blade protrusion easy!

Nice, Very Nice!

I got this and the replacement hex screws for the WR 5 1/2. I didn't use all of the screws, the slotted screw for the chip breaker. I carry a short slotted screwdriver in my apron, finding a hex key seemed like too much work, especially in my shop! Moving the throat is not done that often. The adjustar is so much easier than a knob. Do it! I feel you will not regret replacing the knob, or the screws.
