Do you find that using your plane's adjusting knob is a bit difficult? Well we did and decided to fix that by creating our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0 adjusting knob to replace the original adjusting knob on most WoodRiver & Luban bench planes.

Our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0 is larger and much easier to use than the original adjusting knob allowing you to make adjustments to your blade depth setting easily. Our design makes it easier for you to reach and turn the adjuster with your fingers and easier for you to reach the frog adjustment screw with a screwdriver. We know you will love our Plane AdjuSTAR 2.0.

DETAILS:

Made of forged brass.

Designed to fit WoodRiver and Luban brand bench planes numbers 4-1/2, 5, 5-1/2, 6, 7, and 8. Requires removal of handle to install (see installation video).

WIll Not Fit the WoodRiver or Luban bench planes number 1, 3, 4 and 62.

Diameter: 1-7/8 inch outside diameter.

Very good product

Very easy to use. Love it! It is indeed much easier on the fingers to adjust the depth. It feels especially direct in making a very fine adjustment.

It might feel even nicer if the tabs were a bit wider so as to give a closer reach from the rear tote.

AdjuSTAR for my new WoodRiver 5 1/2 Jack Plane.

The “adjustar” arrived intact and nicely packaged. Removal of the factory provided adjusting nob, and installation of the adjustar was simple and straightforward with the assistance of the instructional video on Rob Cosman website. Fit and finish are great!

Nice addition for my 4 ½ Woodriver.

I decided to try this upgrade after seeing how smooth it looked on Rob’s videos. I got another for my Bailey No. 5. Both are great.

Upgrade Plane adjustment

Nice upgrade. The adjustment knob for my new Wood River planer needed to work more easily. This star knob is just what I was looking for.
