Our Dale Nish inspired push sticks offer an advance over most push stick designs. Dale Nish was Rob's woodworking professor and mentor while he studied furniture-making at Brigham Young University (BYU).

Our push sticks provide you with a safe, comfortable and single-handed workpiece control.  Their shape keeps your hand away from the table saw blade while allowing you to provide consistent and simultaneous downward and forward pressure to your cutting stock, helping to reduce or eliminate most kickback and lift.  A small notch cut in the rear of the push stick allows you to safely grab onto your stock.

Comes in a set of two push sticks; a thick and a thin one.  The thicker one is made from 3/4 inch (19 mm) Baltic birch plywood while the thin one is made from 1/4 inch (6 mm)  Baltic birch plywood.  Use the 3/4 inch thick push stick when the space between the table saw fence and the blade is greater than 3/4 inch and use the 1/4 inch thick push stick when the space is less than 3/4 inch.

Product Details:

  • Ergonomic design and the overall dimensions allows you to be close to the work while simultaneously controlling workpiece lift and kickback.
  • Comes in a set of two push sticks:  3/4 inch (19mm) and 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick.  Each push stick is approximately 12 inches (305 mm) long and 5 inches (127 mm) tall.
  • Made from high quality Baltic birch plywood.
