WoodRiver V3 replacement blade sets are designed for WoodRiver hand-planes, but they will also fit old Stanley and Record planes. 

I always like to have a couple of extra plane blade sets sharpened  and ready to go.  If you watch my videos, take a careful look at the tool tray of my workbench and you will see about four or five already sharpened  blade sets in my tool tray.  This way when I need a sharp blade I just reach for a sharpened blade set and change it out with the dull one.  Later, I will sharpen the dull blade and put it in my sharpened tray ready at a moments notice.

WoodRiver hand-plane blade sets are a great high quality blade set at a value price.  I use and recommend them.  At .125 inches thick, these WoodRiver hand-plane blade sets reduce vibration and chatter, leading to improved performance.

Well produced plane

Purchased plane as I lost one ( later found a week after placing order) for a no. 5 plane. Very impressed with the quality and production of this plane. It is almost twice the thickness of the misplaced plane, hence it provides a sturdier platform to use and holds it's sharpness for longer. Quality is second to none. It changed the degree of the level from 25° to 35° to use on hard woods. I was surprised with the quality of the cut compared to the misplaced plane.
When you pay for quality with Rob, you certainly get what you have paid for.

New blade and chip breaker for my Bailey #5

I got my new blades and sharpened them. I must say it was much easier putting a good edge on the new blade than the old originals. My plane is now cutting great. I actually feel what Rob said is so relaxing to use. This was an excellent purchase.

Good quality and decent price

I compared similar blade prices with other manufacturers and this one looks very good quality and comes with a chip breaker which is great bonus. Shipping was fast amidst the christmas holiday and a postal strike. And I even got a personal call from the man Rob himself so I'd say you guys provide great service! I have not tried it yet but based on the look and feel, I am satisfied with the purchase

Great upgrade for my Stanley planes

This upgrade has made a 100% difference to my planes and better for sharpening using your methods as a result of this I have just ordered another set for my Stanley 51/2 plus star adjuster stars
